Once the order has been printed and gone through the post-printing process, it will be packaged in predetermined amounts and sent to you (or your clients) straight for our warehouse.
Packaging
We offer a number of packaging options to you including; Boxed packaging, Shrink wrapping Mailout envelopes.

Boxed Packaging
Box packaging is where we place your printing job into a box for their protection. Busines cards for example has a die cut box that fits exactly 250 cards inside. These boxes are then usually shrink wrapped for an extra layer of protection.
Shrink Wrapping
Shrink wrapping is a thin coat of plastic that envelopes the printed items and is shrunk down using heat. Shrink wrapping is the best way to protect your printing against moisture as its acts as a barrier between the paper and the outside humidity. Customers can opt out of shrink wrapping however this does carry the risk of the print items inside getting water damaged.
Mailout Envelopes

Occasionally at Q print Group we will get an order for a mailout. Mailouts are when a business/company wants to send out a letter to a large list of recipients. We take the recipient data, run it through our programs and print the delivery information directly onto the envelope (or the letters for envelopes with window cut outs). Printed letters are then inserted into these pre-printed envelopes ready to be sent out.
Distribution
Once your print order is safely packaged up, we will send them via courier to the quoted destination. Depending on the size of the printing and the destination, the printing will usually be sent one of two ways; air shipping, or road express.

Air Shipping
Air shipping tends to take 1 to 2 business days to reach its destination. Air shipping is limited to a max of 5kg and also needs to fit inside the airbag. Air shipping is ideal for small orders like business cards, flyers, and small run booklets as they are small and light enough to fit into the satchels and are sent relatively cheaply.
Road Express
Road express takes 5-10 business days depending on the distance and has no limits on size or volume. We use road shipping for orders with bigger print jobs like pull up banners and posters.
Mailouts
Mailouts are unique in terms of their distribution as they are classed as variable data printing that is sent to hundreds or even thousands of locations. We usually send our mailouts with Australia Post and they tend to arrive within 7 business days.
We strive to find the fastest and most cost-efficient way to get your printing to you and your customers. For more information on our warehousing and distribution services click here.
