National Early Learning Chain

Classroom Display Boards Rollout

Timeline

3 months

Scope

140 childcare centres nationally

Date

2025 – 2026

The Challenge

In late 2025, a National Early Learning Chain engaged Q Print Group to help solve an ongoing issue across their childcare centres.

Staff were regularly attaching children’s artwork, photos, and messages directly to walls using tape and adhesives. Over time, this caused paint damage and ongoing maintenance costs, requiring frequent repainting.

Existing solutions like cork boards and pin boards were unsuitable

Market alternatives did not work effectively with blue tack or tape

Strict 3-month implementation timeframe

Pins are not permitted in childcare environments

Required a scalable solution across 140 centres nationally

All installation completed out of hours

Our Solutions

Development & Testing

Produced multiple test panels for approval and refinement

Adjusted fixing methods to ensure durability and compliance

Implemented countersunk fixings with colour-matched vinyl caps for clean, woodgrain aesthetic

Consistency & Planning

Completed two pilot site installations, gathering feedback

Developed detailed centre-specific floor plans including board sizes, orientations, and heights

Created comprehensive installation manual for managers and teams

Pre-Installation Validation

Supplied coloured removable stickers to each centre

Centre Managers placed stickers onsite to confirm positioning before teams arrived

National Deployment

Installation teams documented each site with photos

Reporting included board counts (some centres exceeding 100 boards)

All works coordinated nationally and completed out of hours

Outcomes & Highlights

140 childcare centres delivered nationally within 3 months

Fully compliant solution eliminating wall damage from adhesives

Custom-engineered fixing system with concealed hardware
